there are many different kinds of bio major offered at UC Berkeley
and I know ALL college classes are difficult, but i wanna try to chose the easiest one
any opinions on which bio to take? please no negative comments. thanks! :]

Microbial Biology
Molecular Environmental Biology
Genetics and Plant Biology
Cell and Developmental Biology
Neurobiology
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

your list is wrong

Cell and Developmental Biology
Neurobiology
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

are all MCB majors

The actual list is here

biology.berkeley.edu

Average departmental GPAs from CampusBuddy

Integrative Biology is 3.34
BioE is 3.51
Earth and Planetary Science is 3.50
Environmental Science, Planning, and Management (contain Molecular Environmental Biology) is 3.45
Environmental Science is 3.39
Nutritional Science and Toxicology is 3.45
Plant and Microbial Biology (contains Genetics and Plant Biology and Microbial Biology) is 3.28
Public Health is 3.62

Molecular Cell Biology is the hardest at is 2.96

Chemical Biology is taught mainly through specific chemistry courses, and I don't have data for it

Integrative Biology is broadest and is as specialized as you want it to be.

haha ok tthanks! :]

if you are really interested in biology, consider applying to the college of natural resources. CNR houses the most variety of biology majors for you to choose from. letters and science houses MCB and integrative biology, engineering houses BioE and the college of chemistry houses chem bio.

so if you're sure you want to study biology but don't know which one exactly, CNR will allow you to take the lower division requirements while exploring what you are really interested in.

^so will L&S. Transferring into CNR from L&S is very easy.

Getting into L&S, i believe, is easier than getting into CNR
