Trying to find top 20-30 colleges with good financial aid??

and remember accuracy of the information that is inputted in the NPCs is critical
you need actual parents salaries/savings/property values etc - not just what you think they have/make in order to get an accurate number back

@mochibean : My recommendations derived partly from a College Transitions site, “Top Feeders-MBA Programs,” that lists the LACs Amherst, Bates, Claremont Mckenna, Hamilton, Middlebury and Pomona among its 20 schools.

@merc81 I see. Thank you very much! I’ve since done some research on LACs and it seems Haverford or Colgate would be suitable to my major/career.
@hapworth @Pheebers Since I’m already applying to quite a couple of reach schools, I was thinking that Haverford or Colgate would be more reasonable for me. It seems Middlebury and Williams are pretty selective, even though they seem like great schools. There’s not as much information on how the transition is to graduate school, but I’m hoping they’re just as worth it as the higher ranked LACs.
@swampdraggin Yes I used our tax returns and everything while filling out NPCs. The ironic part is that cheaper schools had a higher EFC than schools like Harvard and Princeton.

Thank you everyone for giving me all this advice! It looks like I will be adding a LAC to my list

Have you taken PSAT? Being a NMF would give you some other merit options. UofSC has top ranked public honors program. School also has a top international business program. Good stats would give you instate tuition rates which would put you at around a COA of 25K before any other scholarships.

Older D loved W&L and they do have a generous competitive scholarship program.
