okay so I'm in California right now and I am planning on moving to the New England area really close to Yale.
My heart is set on being a vet it always has. I was attending a really great High School in Texas then was forced to move 3 different times before my junior year which really impacted my grades. Last year I was supposed to graduate, I got into a really bad accident and was not able to go to school. After that I started attending adult school which I am almost done with and will be receiving a regular hs diploma. Due to the moves my grades suffered tremendously, I used to be a straight A student and all that jazz.
With a shakey high school career and a passion to attend the best schools possible, where do I go from here? Does anybody have any advise on how I may prove myself to be the straight A student I really am so that I will be able to attend a top notch vet school?
I have looked into University of New Haven and they have a great undergrad Biology B.S. program with a concentration in pre-veterinary biology. I think I really just need a finger pointed in the right direction, should I look more into the B.S. at UNH or do I need to start even further back to begin recovering from my HS career or what? Where do I go from here? HELP!
