Trying to Transfer - Chances or tips?

Unfortunately some people on this site have to compensate for their lack of intellectual ability by questioning that of others.

Anyway, transfer admission to any top school is VERY difficult. I applied and was rejected to Penn last year (I'm a junior at Williams, if you couldn't tell from my screenname). However, your college GPA is a bit higher than mine. Also, the fact that your GPA is higher than it was in high school and that you were still able to maintain a 3.5 while going through some psychological problems should help your case. I think you should mention your depression, just make it clear that you're over it. You have a good chance, just make sure your recommendations are solid and your transcript stays strong for the year.
Finally, I don't see the point in retaking the SAT II's.

Thank you for the solid advice! Unfortunately Stanford reaaaallly wants Math IIC
