<p>So here's my situation. I'm a sophomore at UC Merced in California. I am planning on transferring for my junior year. My gpa will be around a 3.3 when I apply. However I will have a strong essay, and a screenplay that I wrote myself as an art supplement. Oberlin has what I need to pursue my education in creative writing. The gpa is the only thing that worries me. Is that enough? </p>
<p>The Oberlin transfer page says that 'the strongest candidates usually have a B average (3.0) or better'. That means with a 3.3 I should be okay? Especially since I'm not transferring from a cc, it's a uc.</p>
