<p>Just to clarify, Chestnut Hill is actually a neighborhood comprised of Brookline, Newton, and the West Roxbury area of Boston. The mail goes through the Chestnut Hill post office (in Newton) but taxes, utilities, and other services are all provided by the respective town (Brookline) or cities (Newton/Boston). And yes, it’s a lovely area!</p>
<p>Thanks for that. I’ve lived in the area for 44 years and never really understood the geographic or governmental organization.</p>
