Tufts Class of 2019 RD Applicants

Rachaell, as long as your parents submitted all of the required financial documents through IDOC before March 1st, you should be fine. This is direct from the Tufts Financial Aid Office. With IDOC 4-6 weeks behind in processing documents, it is putting all colleges behind in their individual processing.

@Silas926‌ 30 seems low to me, anything below the school’s average is risky, but when you’re dealing with an acceptance rate so low it’s risky even if your scores are above the middle 50. your ECs seem fine and if your essays and GPA were above average then you definitely have a shot. good luck!!

I wish they would email us confirming the decision date, ya know? We still don’t know if we’ll be waiting 2 days or a full week.

@whats9plus10‌ Yeah. Especially since they’re otherwise so open about the admissions process on their blog. I’m hoping it will be this Friday, but each time I expected a school to release on a certain date based on last year, they haven’t, so I’m not holding out too much hope.

So they send us an email WITH the decision? Or do they send us an email telling us to check our portals?

@writeallnight I believe they email us instructing us to check the portal, but I could be wrong.

my portal looks way different then usual… is this a sign decisions come out soon?

In what way?

Mine looks the same

@Jford17‌ how is it different?

Ours has looked different for about a week.

Apparently, we hear back from Tufts March 28 (about 2 pm EDT)… Just a guess that I’m throwing out there?

How is it different? We just looked at my D’s. It looks the same to me.

Nothing significant, it looks like a bit of a redesign or something…I don’t have any new tabs or anything.

@TheOtterOne That’s when it came out last year, but last year March 28th was a Friday (This year it’s Saturday). My guess is that they kept the Friday schedule and moved it back to the 27th at 2PM.

Does anyone know for sure when the decision will come out?

I have a 2180 sat, 630 math, 760 CR, 790 writing. Applied for psychology. I’m worried my math score will kill me

@Tkat97‌ Me tooo!! I have a 2150 SAT (770 writing, 750 math, and 630 cr) T-T We will see soon!!

Last year was the day after Ivy Day so I wonder if that means this year they won’t release until Apr 1st?

Think your prediction is looking good, Finnegan. Doubt Tufts is releasing decisions tomorrow with either no prior email notice or less than 24 hours notice. The Ivies notified RD applicants more than a week ago about the 3/31 Ivy Day.
