Like I said, we have to be patient because likely, not even Tufts Admissions knows if they can say when they are releasing. Also @lilyrose250 may be right but its impossible to tell.
A smart thing would be to wait to Ivy day for those of you who applied Ivy and see them together.
Oh absolutely not. If they release on Ivy Day, I am going to lose it. They must think that people that truly don’t want to go anywhere else did not apply to other ivies… which is ridiculous because that is the point of ED2- to find out who has changed their mind and only wants to go to Tufts. RD is for people that do not want to make that commitment.
@TheWaffleMan149 not necessarily. Tufts is definitely my number one choice. If I get in I would go in a heartbeat. I personally couldn’t commit to ED2 for other reasons at the time
^^ Same here. I cannot commit to a school when I am unsure about how much financial aid will be awarded. There’s a whole lot more factors than just loving the school. Would I choose Tufts over Harvard (if I were accepted to both)? Quite possibly. It all comes down to more personal factors to each applicant than just commitment.
No one said it MUST be Monday / Friday. While I can see tomorrow, I highly doubt they will post anything before Ivy day at this point. I think April 1st since it is Friday (still could be that rule).
(btw as a pessimist I expect the very worse, but it could be different than this.)
