Hello everyone! Nice to meet you all!

I’m an international applicant from Johannesburg, South Africa. I’m very excited about our decisions coming out soon but the wait is quite daunting. I truly wish you all the best. Tufts seems like a great school and I was grateful to find a school that is truly dedicated to international relations and seems to be the hallmark of its curriculum. My interview was great and the interesting thing was that the interviewer had also studied international relations so we had a lot in common, haha.

I feel like I’m likely gonna get rejected bc I didn’t describe my activities well in my activity section and you can’t send in a resume :frowning:

Last years RD had a reminder email come out 10 days beforehand, so keep an eye out for that. My son was deferred from ED2 and they had 7-day reminder email this year.

I hope they come out as soon as yesterday, I have been stressing about the decision for a while now. Tufts is a great university and I hope I get in. all the good luck for your son.

Yes, my daughter got a “your decision is coming soon” email a few days ago. Hopefully, she’s getting a definitive answer this Friday!

I think the REAL purpose of that “your decision is coming soon” email was (not so) cleverly hidden in the P.S.

“If you have been admitted to another institution through a binding early decision program, or if you are no longer interested in Tufts, please withdraw your application through your applicant status portal.”

Like any college, they want to protect their yield numbers. And so this is a plea to anyone who will definitely NOT be accepting an offer to please withdraw their application now.

i have a dependent student verification and student/spouse non-tax filing statements in my financial aid portal marked as received. I never submitted these, so maybe all the rejects have this automatically in there portal because they would never have to submit these anyways?

Personally, I think it seems a little early and they did say they would send an email in advance with a specific release date. My guess would be we get an email today or over the next couple days with a specific release date for late next week.
