<p>SO... this is for everyone who is waiting to hear back about the status of their Tufts ED application. </p>
<p>The suspense is killing me, only eight days. I was hoping you could all give me some insight as to what the status of my application will be... </p>
<p>I have pretty high SAT scores, but my gpa was terrible freshman year but since then have drastically increased (3.9 for senior year). I have a lot of extracurriculars and hold leadership positions, and have had two internships (one with and Ivy league school that helps underprivileged kids get to college and one with a national non-profit agency). I have also shown a large interest in Tufts (day visit, interview etc.)</p>
<p>Can my low gpa be compensated for since freshman year is the only year holding me back?</p>
