What are the differences? is one much better than the other or are they pretty much equal? i'm struggling to make the choice...

The Elliot School is one of the best in the country. I have no idea where Tufts ranks, but the Elliot School is renowned for its career placements, internship opportunities, relevant and highly qualified adjunct professors, guest speakers, and other advantages because of the clear advantage of its location. On the way to GW, for example, we passed the embassies of Bosnia/Herzegovina and The Republic of Congo. The World Bank is within campus boundaries. As a fun fact, Colin Powell is a graduate of GW.

Elliott School has a much better reputation than Tufts, and it has a better location, DC! where else would you study international affairs??

What is the difference between Elliott and SFS at GT?

They are both considered top programs in IR and Foreign Policy as described here:

Of course, that’s a list of grad programs, but I think it gives a pretty good approximation of the undergrad programs

thanks for the help LOL.

Actually, the Elliot School is one of the few actual schools of international affairs in the country, whereas at Tufts, the major is under the college of arts and sciences (unless I’m very much mistaken).

Not to sound like a broken record about GW but…LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

Here’s the link for the entire article ranking, not just the section mentioning GW

Tufts has a great reputation for grad school in that area.

Boy, this is a tough one, I think you need to decide where your heart tells you in this one! Good Luck
