Tufts or Brandeis?

Which one?

Financial Aid:
Tufts gave me nothing, Brandeis is offering 17.5K/year.

So help me decide!

I would appreciate actual advice, you know.

I think those two are of equal quality. If money is of consideration, go to the lower cost one.

What advice are you looking for? In order to adequately help we would need more info about you.

Which school has your possible majors?
What are the strength of those majors at each school?
How are financials affecting your decision?
Is travel a consideration?
Do you play a sport? Does each school have your sport? Will you play in college?

Even though one school offered a scholie, what is the bottom line of each college for your family?

Are these your only 2 options? Do you have an in-state option that is strong in the sciences?

The school itself does NOT help you get in or better prepare your for med school. It is what you do and how you do at each school that matters. If you can’t pass Orgo at one uni you probably will not be able to pass it with a decent grade at another. Your stats get you a look it is everything else that gets you an acceptance.

Clinical shadowing hours/expereince
Research, bench or lab
Publications
ECs, leadership
Community involvement
And a high GPA, high Science GPA and a decent MCAT

So which school did YOU like the best and for what reasons?

Thank you for replying. I actually ended up going with Tufts. I liked what I saw at both schools, but Tufts definitely felt better. I ended turning down BU, UConn, and Umass Amherst because I thought they’re not quite up to par with Tufts, and the quality of education it offers. Thanks for the replies.
