i have been really disappointed by rpi over the past several days....i have the stats required for a scholarship (not just GPA and SAT, but extra curricular stuff as well)....it really is aggravating.....it is really making me consider if i want to attend any more.

@hawkswim Didn't I read on your other post that you were a school of architecture applicant? Did you hear anything about that? My D applied to that school and acceptance letter says nothing about that. Fin aid says for 4 years yet architecture is 5 year BS degree.

i have not heard anything about architecture in particular and my scholarship (that finally arrived....lol) says it is for four years. I have a feeling that because there are so little architecture majors, they simply overlooked the fact that architecture majors stay for five years. i am not sure what the procedure is, but i am going to attend the accepted students day and probably ask then, if not call them at an earlier point and will report anything i find out along the way.

i do intend on majoring in architecture

@hawkswim On another thread someone said D applied for arch and they called and were told if you applied for arch and were accepted then you were accepted into arch. So that is good - the fin aid will probably extend for the 5th year because if you are a Medalist they give you the 5th year award for arch.

thats good news....i can't wait for the accepted students day....been there once and really enjoyed it
