<p>Hi can anyone tell me what they think my chances are at the schools Im applying to? Im applying to Tufts, Brandeis, BU, George Washington, American, NYU, and Brown.<br>
Here's my information</p>

<p>Im white, female, live in Brooklyn, NY</p>

<p>SCHOOL: Selective Test School
RANK: Im like 322 out of over 850...thats bad but you should see the kids at my school.
AVERAGE: 87
PSAT: Verbal 79, Math 68, Writing 78 (Natl. Merit Semifinalist)
SAT: Verbal 770, Math 690 (I am taking it again in January)
SAT 2: Writing 770, Literature 780, US History ? (taking it this Saturday)
EXTRA CURRICULARS:
Captain of school Track/Cross Country team (10-12 grade)
Assistant Sports Editor of School Newspaper (12th grade)
Beta Honor Society (12th)
Drama Club (9th)
Worked at day camp full time for past 4 summers
Did community service planning inner city middle school for past two years.
PLANNED MAJOR: Political Science
AP CLASSES: Junior year: AP Psych (5 on AP test), Senior year: AP Govt, English, Calc AB. </p>

<p>Thats basically it... do you guys think I have a chance of getting into Tufts? I know Brown is a reach reach, but Tufts is the school I really want to go to. How do you think my chances are at the schools Im applying to?? Please give me your opinions. Thanx! </p>

<p>i would think think that you have a pretty good shot at all of your schools except tufts and brown. if that's where you really want to go, you have to get your grades up...a lot.</p>

<p>o yea, will it help at all that my grades have gone up since freshmen year? in 9th grade I had an 80 average, but since then its consistently been 90 or above.</p>

<p>Your grades will hurt you for sure at brown, but if you really want to go to Tufts, perhaps applying ED would give you a shot. It's hard to say, good grades are important for the elite colleges.</p>

<p>Tufts is solid and not too trickey to get into. Besides, you do alot and have solid grades</p>
