Tuition payment due

My credit is too new and my parent have bad credit, what can I do at this point? I already started school and need to make up the rest of the tuition.. Send me your tips and help!

How much do you need to pay? Does your university have a payment plan where you can spread payments out over the course of the semester?

Walk into the financial aid office, and ask them if there is anything available. If not, you may need to withdraw before you owe a huge bill. That way you could get a job, save your money, and start next semester or next fall. Don’t wait around thinking that the “money fairy” will suddenly appear. My niece did that, and by the time she withdrew she owed thousands of dollars for a semester that she didn’t even finish half of. It took her almost two years to get it paid off.

Here is the one option, I do have for this year. My father will be able to cover the tuition cash but he is will not have the money for 60 days but in the financial payment plan sign up ends this Friday and they have their plan broken down in 3 payments starting in 30 days. What and how can I tell them this so they can work with me?

There’s no clearly defined process for this. Walk into the office or call them, and work it out.

Listen to happymomof1 though. If you’re not completely sure that your dad will get the money, or you don’t have a plan for how you’re going to pay for the rest of college, withdraw now, and reapply/reenroll when you have a better plan. You do not want to be on the hook for thousands of dollars and have nothing to show for it.

Just tell the school that you can pay 60 days from now. If the school not okay with your plan, then you have to withdraw from the school.
