Tulane or Purdue?

I am an international student from India and I will be attending either Tulane or Purdue this fall. My major is biomedical engineering. Here are the net costs for each after scholarships:

Tulane: $35,000 per year
Purdue: $35,000 first year and then $45,000 per year

So right now I’m leaning towards Tulane because of the cost, weather and size. I just want to know if I’m making a mistake by passing up the opportunity to attend the engineering powerhouse that Purdue is? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

If you can afford the extra $30K I’d take Purdue, if nothing else because of the better networking.

Tulane has a fine bio medical engineering but Purdue has great bio medical engineering. Unless you either don’t like Purdue or finances are a big issue, go to Purdue.
