I applied to Tulane Early Action in early October. I have my Green Wave Portal and that is fine, but I still have not received access to my Gibson portal to look at financial aid. Do I need to call Tulane about this, or is it normal to take a while? I love Tulane so much, so I do not want to mess this up. Thanks!
Hey! I actually have the same issue as you right now. I contacted my regional representative and she luckily replied super fast. She told me that she contacted both Financial Aid and Tech Services Departments at Tulane and discovered that because of the vast amounts of applications in the last several weeks (ED & EA deadlines), that the system is slowing down by getting them out. ALSO, she said that only students who have applied for financial aid currently will be getting access to the Gibson Portal. If you did not, then you will be receiving the email with access to the Gibson Portal AFTER acceptance. Lastly, she said that if I did apply Financial Aid and I hadn’t received it by now then to contact your regional Financial Aid counselor and they can assist with getting it to you. And to clarify, she said they have made no decisions on Early Action applicants yet, so it in no way affects your admission.

Just adding on to this thread because my D has been able to log in to Gibson Portal, but only shows the Tulane News on that page, as others have mentioned. I called Financial Aid today and they told me only admitted students will see financial details in that portal, and prior to admission, if any financial aid docs are needed, that will be communicated via email instead of the portal. If anyone has accessed any financial aid details prior to admission, please let me know because then I will worry and call again! 
Hi ALL - I’m an ED applicant and just received an email with the Gibson Portal Login information. I never applied for Financial Assistance. Has anyone else received a Gibson Portal login email but didn’t request any Financial Assistance? TIA
