Turkish or Russian for Econ. major?

No other suggestions please, just one of the two. I have a language requirement, so I've decided I might as well study abroad. Currently saving :)

I’m partial to Russian, and you may want to consider the Critical Language Scholarship <a href=“Languages List - Critical Language Scholarship Program”>http://www.clscholarship.org/languages</a>, which would pay for summer study abroad in either language (starting at beginner level in Turkish and intermediate in Russian)

Well you haven’t given us any for your reasons for taking either. Personally, I would be interested in learning Turkish because of I have Turkish relatives and I think that Turkey would be an interesting place to live in temporarily.

Russia’s a more significant world economy, so depending on your career plans it might be more useful in the long term.
