I am taking both the AP Chemistry and AP Environmental Science Exams and both of them are scheduled for Tuesday Morning. I dont know which one to study for because my school has not told me which one we are taking and which one we are making up. My question is does a student have a choice in which exam to take and which one to make up, or does the school?

just talk to your AP coordinator on Monday. I say you should study for the easier one first (prbly. Env. Sci) and leave the harder one for the make up day (for more study time). its your choice for what you wish to make up. the AP coordinator just has to set it up for you.

what the, how can u take exams at the same time? is it possible for us to disperse the exam schedule and set it aside somewhere else? i thought that was impossible, e.g. Calc AB and BC. I heard that CollegeBoard prohibits u from doing so.

I’m in the same situation as you, but I told my AP coordinator during the time that I was ordering APs. I told her that I wanted to take the environmental late and she OK’d it and that was it.

I second what thatguyinclass said. Ben, Calc AB and BC are the only two you can’t take in the same year.

I have this same problem with Biology and Physics but my AP coordinator won’t let me take one as a make up…

PFacheris, I would call Collegeboard. If you’ve been taking the class or studying all year long, you have the right to take the test. It may be a little late now since that’s Monday, but another school would probably accommodate you.

^ That’s because Biology and Physics don’t overlap so there isn’t a problem.
