<p>Definitely. But I'm a transfer student who will likely come in with near junior standing...and they have a junior qualifying exam which would screw me pretty hard. </p>

<p>CC- just like bates, preppy on the outside, but in reality students are very outdoorsy, liberal, 'save the world' types. (dont be put off by its low ranking- up until the past couple of years, it was high 20s. stats show the school is more competitive than a good chunk of schools ranked higher)</p>

<p>Absolutely not true. Oberlin is composed of a Conservatory of Music and a College of Arts and Sciences. The College is very similar to lots of the LACs that people have suggested to you--Vassar, Wesleyan, Grinnell, etc.--but it has a character and personality all its own. Don't dismiss it until you've learned more about it--it's a great school.</p>
