Two Questions on life at Pepperdine.

<p>As of now I'm on the wait-list at UCSB, and have been accepted to: Pepperdine, USD, LMU, USF, Drexel, and Fordham. </p>

<p>However I'm really only deciding between UCSB, Pepperdine, LMU, and USD.
I'm just wondering how the social life really is at Pepperdine. I'm okay with the campus being dry but is there rarely parties outside of campus or no? Also at Pepperdine do many guest speakers come through to give lectures? </p>

<p>While Pepperdine is a “dry campus” you can find a party/multiple parties off campus every night of the weekend as well as random Tuesdays and Thursdays. Rushing a sorority/fraternity definitely helps your social life too. Yes, there are TONS of guest speakers especially because of Pepperdine’s convocation policy, so most of the speakers who talk will help you in your convocation requirements.</p>
