I will be attending AU as a sophomore and was wondering if there were any other Type 1 Diabetic students there? Sorry if it seems silly but I’d love to connect with an fellow T1Ds. 
Rheale, I have a 15 year old who is a Type 1 diabetic. I can’t help in terms of helping you find someone specifically but wanted to mention the College Diabetic Network which i have heard is a great resource.

I don’t think this is silly at all. My D16 was just diagnosed with Type I Diabetes and, as we consider her college options, we are now focusing on a whole set of different issues. We stumbled on the College Diabetic Network as well and found that to be a good resource. It looks like there is a chapter at Alabama but not Auburn. But given how large Auburn is, there must other students with diabetes. Maybe give residential life a call and ask them. Or you might give the Alabama chapter a call and ask how they got started.
