The common application has a required signature portion, and I don’t exactly know what they want for it. It says “Your typed ‘signature’ is required…”
Can someone tell me what they want, considering a signature is not supposed to be typed.
<p>What it means is that by typing in your name you are, in effect, signing your name to the document.</p>
<p>So do you have to type it or can you sign it?</p>
<p>If you are sending a paper version, sign it. If applying on line, just type your name.</p>
<p>when ever i preview the application, there is nothing filled in for the date next to the typed signature.. will they automatically fill it in when you send it or not?</p>
