Typical Indian kid? DOUBTS!!

<p>totally stressed. here are my stats, good public high school, sends kids to good schools, except i don't know how i look so far; i've been in contact with bates and hc, my top choices, and they both invited me to a diversity overnight stay; i went to the bates one and it was wicked awesome. i'm going to hocro soon too. great interviews at bates and hc as well.</p>

taken most challenging courses offered, aced only a few, B/B+ in most...good or bad?

AP Bio: B+/A-

H1 Physics with Calc: A-

<p>Comm. Service: over 120+ hours in ER at local hospital
Sports: soccer since four (not vars/jv, extra curricular, indoor, etc)
baseball one year (summer league)
tennis (jv)
Academics: science team, math team, yearbook (all 4 yrs)
Music: private drum lessons, perc ensemble, jazz band (all 4 yrs)</p>

-invited to and attended multicultural recruitment prologue program at Bates College; they gave me an app fee waiver
-accepted into Holy Cross diversity overnight stay
-EXCELLENT teach reccs; one alumni recc for Holy Cross (it's really good)</p>

<p>Are you a MA resident?
If you are, you'll definitely get into UMASS. Actually, you most likely will even if you aren't a resident. </p>

<p>And I think it's good that you have B's and B+'s but in the highest level courses. Colleges would rather see you earn less than perfect grades in AP or honors classes than earn straight A's in courses that are clearly too easy for you. They'll see that you took basically all AP and will think more highly of the grades you earned (I think). It shows that you challenge yourself, which is always a good thing.</p>

<p>I don't know much about any of the schools acceptance rates or anything though, so I'm afraid I can't be of much help there.</p>
