U Delaware vs Ithaca vs Towson

Please offer any advice/personal experience that you have had about these schools. My D is interested in speech pathology and is trying to decide between University of Delaware, Ithaca College, Towson University, and perhaps U MASS Amherst.

My D wants a social atmosphere (yes, she drinks a little and likes to party) and does not want a school to be so academically challenging that she is overwhelmed.....she is down to earth and not "jappy" and is friendly but not extremely outgoing until you get to know her - any input is appreciated!

I’d vote Delaware over UMass and Towson. Don’t know about the college.

qb: all of those schools are on a similar work/play balance…the biggest difference you will see is size, emphasis on sports (moreso at UDel, Towson, Umass, less-so at Ithaca), and location…

Ithaca has a small artsy vibe due to its strength in theatre and communications…others have students all over the academic range (except for maybe Towson which seems to attract those in MD who have not been accepted to UMD-CP)…

we have not yet toured Towson or UMass but have been at the other two in the past…

in terms of jappy: I would imagine that factor would not be excessively present at any of those in big numbers, but there are jappy kids everywhere there is a Jewish population…just differ in terms of degree…

Delaware sounds best to me, also. However, you didn’t say anything about which locations are best, financial differences, etc.
