HI:
Well, it's down to two big ten schools. I'd major in the education department, early education, and get a minor i either econ or marketing. Right now, I'd like to teach, but may end up in business. I'm looking for a school with a lot to do, probably join a sorority. Costs are about the same, minnesota further away ( 6 hours vs. 3 hours). Social atmospher is as important to me as education.

I believe UW-Madison has one of the top-ranked education departments in the country, so I’m surprised you did not apply there. With that said, is Iowa in-state? Go whichever is cheapest because both are relatively equal schools.

If you are an education major, which state do you think you would like to work in? These programs are different from one state to another because of specific teacher licensing requirements so it usually is best to study and do your student teaching where you want to work professionally.

I say Minnesota. The campus is really nice and the Twin Cities are pretty cool too. Also its a days drive to other cities (madison, milwaukee, chicago) A slightly better school too IMO

As an Iowan, I’d personally go to U Minn over U Iowa. Unless cost is a factor. If there is a significant difference in price, go to the cheaper of the two.
