Hey everyone, I'm new here and I was wondering what my chances are of getting into U of M Ann Arbor. So, basically I screwed 9th grade by messing around and stuff and only got a cum GPA of 3.3 the first trimester, now I just started 11th and my GPA has risen to 3.6. I plan to have at least a 3.7 by the end of Senior year. The only activities I have are 9th & 10th grade track, but I am going to join German Club, Interact Club, and possibly NHS. Right now, my classes are: AP Bio, Accelerated Alg 2, Accl Eng and Chemistry H (basically accl chem), adn Economics. I wanted to take Prob and Stats so I could take Pre-Calc next year, but I wasn't put in it (I am working on getting in there). I got a scholarship or something to have 2 free years of Community college, so I was going to go to Henry Ford and then after those two years see if I can get accepted to U of M. What are my chances? What AP classes should I take next year (my school won't have AP Chem)? Are there any other activities like Volunteer work, community work I should do? And, what is the best way to prepare for the ACT? If you need to know anything else, just ask me. Oh and, If I can't get into Michigan, what other universities (and medical schools) are really good that I would have a better chance of getting into?
