<p>D just got her acceptance today. She is from a suburb of Cleveland and is very excited. How does Vanderbilt compare to Michigan?</p>
<p>The two schools couldn't be more different. She should visit both and decide based on what she likes. Obviously, Ann Arbor is only two and a half hours away from Cleveland...Nashville can't be more than 5 hours away. So both are very doable.</p>
<p>They have 3 things in common - solid academics, great college towns and Div 1 sports - otherwise they couldn't be more different! Congrats to her.</p>

<p>Michigan is rolling admissions. She applied early in the process, that is why she got a decision back .</p>
