U.S. News Journalist Seeks Students who Found Resourceful Ways to Pay for College

U.S. News & World Report writer Margaret Loftus would like to speak with students who “ have been particularly resourceful about how they’re paying/paid for college in a way that might be instructive to our readers … For instance: a student who transferred from a community college to a four-year school as a cost-saving measure; a student who works/worked a flexible part-time job or started a successful side app/business to raise money; someone who joined ROTC to pay for school; a student who was able to negotiate greater financial aid offerings to minimize debt; a student who has cobbled together several off-the-beaten path (i.e., not merit-based or sports related) scholarships to pay for college.”

She is looking for current undergrads or recent grads who are willing to be interviewed and willing to have their photos taken, too.

If you think that you (or someone else you know) is right for this article, please email margaretloftus@gmail.com ASAP.

Thanks!
