Hi, I have been accepted into both University at Albany as well as University at Buffalo. My plan is to major in Biology and eventually make it into Medical school, which leads to my question. Which school offers a better Biology program, and is more known for getting students into medical school? Also any input on which university is better in general in terms of campus activity, classes, recognition etc. Thanks ahead of time
University at Buffalo is stronger in the sciences and has a higher overall ranking than Albany. SUNY Buffalo’s campus in Amherst New York is larger and facilities are nicer than Albany’s campus. Buffalo has a medical campus in downtown Buffalo and would provide more internship possibilities. The only negative is the amount of snow Buffalo gets and the colder weather.
