I applied for UBC arts and my average is exactly 82.75% for my 4 highest courses. I'm also in IB Diploma but my predicted was a mere 27 =( which was definitely what I was NOT expecting (yes, that's already including bonus cries) Under my Application Status for UBC it says:

" Based on your self-reported or interim grades you do not qualify for admission to your program at this time. At present, your academic average falls below the current competitive requirement for admission to this program. Your application for admission has been temporarily placed on hold. UBC reviews applications regularly throughout the spring and you may still be admitted to UBC. In the event that we are able to offer you admission to your program, we will notify you immediately."

What are the chances I'll get in? I do lots of volunteer work, athletics, extracurriculars like student government and I've won a couple of science fair awards, athletic awards and service awards. However do the Arts people even look at the Supplementary I filled out for for commerce? (Of course I didn't get accepted into commerce at all...... )

Anyone know about this? I'm panicking!! What are the chances I'll get into UBC arts with an 82.75% average? Thanks in advance!
