This is fantastic! I can’t believe there are so many avid poker players! Poker is definitely my main extracurricular as well…or perhaps College Confidential lately lol.

My game is Texas Hold Em (strictly No Limit). Although, I’m proficient in 7-card stud as well. I plan on playing in the WSOP when I turn 21…so far from there though lol. Despite that, it gives me time to continue practicing and developing my game.

I love No Limit, and online I typically play $20-$100 sit-n-go’s, but I’m decent at cash games too. Of course, I’m always down for sitting down with some buddies and putting down $5 a pop for a night game.

@corinnejay, yeah, I applied to UCLA and Cal, and there’s a strong chance I’ll end up at one of them if I’m accepted. If we end up going to the same school, I’m in!

@CBBolts, yeah, if I go to UCLA, I’ll definitely hit you up! I may be wrong, but aren’t you a phil major? I applied as a double major (psych/phil) so it’d be awesome to play some Saturday night poker if I end up going.

@uber_cast, if I go to Davis, and there’s a really good chance if I don’t get into Cal or UCLA, then I’ll play some poker with you if we end up meeting.

@lomkh, correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t you have a 4.0? I’m sure you have a great shot at Cal, even if you did apply for Haas. Do you have UCLA or Davis as backups? If so, then there’s a good shot we somehow end up at the same university. I’m in for Texas Hold Em anytime if so.

@lakerforever, yeah if you learn to play Hold Em’, who knows, maybe we’ll end up getting a Saturday night poker game with lomkh and corrinejay or something.

Anyways, the university poker life will be relative to where we all go, and hopefully the majority of us can end up where we want to be!
