UC ask for further information

Hi,

I am studying at Santa Monica College in Computer Science major. My GPA is 4.0.
And I applied for UC in the fall of 2016.

Just got an email asking for my winter GPA from UC.
Is it because I am not good enough so they ask to see my winter GPA, since my friends do not receive such kind of email?

Last question, do you have forum for university just like this forum?

I’m assuming you applied for the Fall of 2017?
The UC’s can ask for any and all information from anyone. Send your transcript.
