What date last year were admissions decisions posted?
I was told that acceptances would be posted at the very end of May. Like the 29th or 30th
@LindsayHarvard kind of awkward considering the fact that you need to make your choice until May 1st.
@nervous17yearold Last year I believe they were posted on March 24th
@nervous17yearold March 24th last year and @LindsayHarvard portal says March 30th this year, not May
Oh yeah sorry. I meant to write March
are regents scholarship decisions the same time?
sorry posted at wrong place
Have any of you gone to the Regents interview and if so was it a panel interviewing you or just one person?
One person. It’s pretty chill, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Just come in ready to have a good conversation.
It is one faculty member and there is no set format and a casual conversation.

Essays (rating 1-10, details): 10; One was hands down the best essay I’ve ever written. I wrote about why I wanted to be a doctor, including the loss of my brother just months before applying. I truly wrote from the heart for the first time ever probably. My other essay was about growing up poor, sleeping inside of a closet for a year like Harry Potter, but not because my family hated me, my “bed” (it was legit made out of ply-wood by my dad) just didn’t fit anywhere else in our tiny trailer. I did actually include that bit about Harry Potter to open and close off the essay, I thought it was fun.

Those stats look practically perfect idk what you’re talking about!! @BluDawgs
@bludawgs You’re not for real right? Like how did you manage to volunteer in these countries when your family is too poor to afford a bed? It’s seriously impossible for me to believe that if all of your information is true you somehow haven’t already been accepted to like all the UC’s with Regents.
This person has been on all the different schools’ sites and posted this nonsense. Dumb.
7000 hours volunteering is almost a year…
2080 hours is a work year (40hrs/week * 52 weeks).
I was assuming all 24 hours in a day constitute to the 7000.
Thanks.
What are my chances? I applied for EECS.
