Has anyone received a request for recommendation letters yet? I haven’t 
@annakissel: No one so far has posted they received a request for LOR’s. Only a small percentage of applicants will be asked to submit LOR’s and you are not at a disadvantage if you do not receive an LOR request.
I’ve seen 2 people on reddit say that they received requests for LOR. LOR requests are only sent to people where there is more info needed on a topic you brought up in your application or if they generally just didn’t get enough info about you.
A slightly different question about providing updates. D20 is in two UC transferable community college science classes this fall that end next week and is expected to get As in both. Is there a way to update her UC app to show this after her grades post?
@VickiSoCal: UC’s do not consider Senior year grades in their admission decisions unless you are specifically asked for a supplemental review or receive an LOR request where the grades can be addressed.
I have an option to invite teacher recommenders in my Berkeley portal, and so have some people I know. However, not everyone at my school has their portal yet
