<p>I heard that today is the day UCLA STARTS giving out admission decisions, but that it may take longer for some applicants to hear from them… is that true?</p>

<p>Good question, I’m not sure why those 20% or so of TAP students don’t get in. Maybe they have missing pre-reqs, like you said. Or maybe their GPAs are just too low. It sounds like being in TAP is really helpful, but if you have a 3.2 or something, maybe TAP can’t help. Or maybe their essays weren’t good and/or they didn’t have enough ECs, even with TAP’s help.</p>
<p>But the main thing to remember is that the majority of TAP students DO get in (at least if their website is to be believed). And no, I haven’t seen any TAP students on College Confidential who didn’t get in last year (according to the UCB 2012 decisions thread).</p>
<p>I’m in TAP, so let’s see if I can be the first known TAP student to get denied!</p>

I definitely think you stand a chance! I know UC-to-UC transfer is harder, but with your pre reqs done and a decent GPA like that, I think you’ll probably get in</p>
