[/ul]Reflection:[ul]
[] Strengths: GPA, leadership, philanthropy, completed pre-reqs, see “hooks.”
[] Weaknesses: Large stack of W’s from several colleges (over nine years ago). Relatively low course-load in the last year.
[] Comments: I talked about wanting to study neuroscience in my statement, which Cal doesn’t really have a program for. That might have hurt me. My low courseload might have hurt me as well. I also kind of diminished hyper-competitive collegiate environments in my statement by talking about how I think that system fails when compared to those that foster a collaborative effort. Probably not a good idea to tell Cal you think being overly competitive is a flaw. Oh well, I got into the programs I wanted anyways (SD, and LA), so I’m happy.[/ul]
