I currently have a friend whose son lives in NJ. He goes to one of the top 20 schools of the state but wants to go to a UC school.
Their family is planning to have their son attend their own high school for 3 years before senior year. By the time senior year comes, they will have moved to an area named Irvine. From there, he will finish his senior year and begin to apply to the UC’s.
Out of curiosity, does their son have guaranteed admission to one of the UC colleges? I have heard about these a-g courses however I am not familiar when this is applied to new students during their senior year of high school.
