Additional Notes:

Unfortunantely, I have a feeling my low UC gpa will result in my rejections. As a sophomore, I thought I was well off with my grades with a transcript GPA of 4.0 / 4.0. I didn't find out until last year that a large majority of my sophomore honors classes didn't count for UC credit. It took a whole lot of work in getting straight A's junior year to bump up my UC gpa even just to a 3.9... Comments on this? I really wish I took on a less rigorous soph year schedule. ):
- Also, would it be a bad idea to write about this in the Additional Comments section?

** E.C. Sidenote: Student Council may soon include 12th grade as well. I lost the election but continued my efforts with SC through attending meetings, joining council committees, leading Leadership Academy and Junior Leadership Academy workshops both at my school and with the National Charity League (a privilege gained through being at highest membership), etc. The moderator asked me a couple days ago whether I would be willing to take a position if one soon became available. I will know before submission in November. (This is the topic of my UC prompt #2.)

Please and thank you very much!

I forgot to mention Cal Poly SLO also!

You’re calling 3.9 a low GPA?? Come on…

Well it’s definitely not a “guaranteed in” gpa. And that’s why I’m on here asking for my chances. Anyone? Please?

Its not guaranteed but its definately not low…i think you have a good shot at them

Low reach for UCB,UCLA,UCSD but the rest are match

If you’re from CA, then you shouldn’t have any problems getting into the UCs with those numbers.
