Freshman basketball. Couldn't go beyond due to injury.
Started a nonprofit innercity basketball league close to Detroit for girls. It's been successful. (Started when I was 12, been going for 5 years.)

Most of my clubs are humanitarian based and I've organized countless amounts of charity projects and raised tens of thousands of dollars for them. It is my passion.

Recommendations should be good. My teachers really like me and one I'm asking is a Fulbright Scholar who absolutely adores me.

Extra info:
Father was in a nearly fatal accident when I was in 7th grade and ever since then everybody has to take care of him so I wasn't really able to be involved in anything prior to getting my license in 11th grade.
My other issue is that I missed a lot of middle and high school due to being in the hospital. I have chronic pneumonia and a bad immune system so I'm constantly in and out of the hospital. Finally between sophomore and junior year they tried some new experimental thing on me that seems to be working better.
Aunt graduated from UCLA but I don't know if that means anything.

Chances:
Berkeley
-Major: Ancient Egyptian and Near Eastern Art and Archaeology
UCLA
-Major: Ancient Near Eastern Civilizations

You have a good shot OOS, but you won't be able to put all your ECs on the application (the space is more limited than the Common App). Your GPA is at the average for UCLA and a little below for Berkeley, and your ACT is at the average. However, being OOS tends to mean that you need to be above the average. I'd say:

Berkeley: reach
UCLA: slight reach - high match

Being a low-income student with such adversity may help.

It doesn't.

Is there any other way to get my ECs across? And any advice on which ones I should include?

Include whichever ones are most important to you. You can choose one to write an essay on (the "qualities you bring" prompt), if you choose.

I agree with kyledavid on your chances. :) Good luck, getting into a UC OOS is tough. We're anti-social over here. :-p

Yes I know lol. :P.

I'm actually from LA and I live in Cali during my summers and I went there for kindergarten so I'm well acquainted :]. I fell in love with UCLA when my aunt's mom took me to work with her in the psychology department of UCLA. Although, I'm not too sure about the people yet...

It's always funny to go back and ask for a pop and forget that people out there don't know what that is. It's also funny to try to explain what a basement is to kids. Ahh... good times.

XD I know what a basement is...but yes, pop=vacant expressions most of the time (I have a lot of OOS family so I know this stuff).

Lol, mhm :].

Are you going/applying to UC schools?

Oh does anybody know if my major is more or less popular and whether that will hurt/help me?

I applied to all CSUs. ^_^

I'd never even heard of that major before, honestly. The only way it might help you is that if it isn't popular it's probably not impacted.

Hmmm... ok.

You mean soda, right? I'm from the Midwest, so when I moved to CA (years ago), I said "pop" and it always seemed out of place. Now, I never say "pop" -- it's always "soda." =p

It's a less popular major, but that will neither help nor hurt you.

Yes I mean... pop.

Alright, thanks for the major help :].
