i was not working in the USA.

good luck.

uh oh the debate on who worked first and the hardest.

if it matters my friend worked around the time he was fresh out of the womb :)

is that saracasm?

yes because north beach has been going around helping people in threads and including his work history time, he said he started work since 15, now ironically someones coming along claiming work since 14, not only that but working 30 hours a week? What possibly could one do at 14 for 30 hours a week?..

next someone will be here 13>12>11, etc

im confused why this is even in here, nobody GAF!

we have questions and comments related to Davis admissions, not each other employment and life backgrounds.

If you were born in AZ then technically you could have been working up to 2 weeks before you were conceived.

uckitty
this came from a rabid post by a parent who did not want any of these kids on here to receive financial aid. i responded to the parent, and then the parent deleted their post and sent me a private message apologizing. now this dude is ragging on me for the reply that i made to the parent, which is now hanging on this thread out of context. that’s all. and yes, it is retardo. haha

@mafioso
haha.

when you guys say you were “working” what were you working? the streets? ;)

uht, hey did you apply to UCLA?

oh! now you want more details about my work on the davis thread? seriously. haha. by the way, i worked in film and television as a runner. since you asked.

meet me at UCLA thread.

no I didn’t apply to UCLA, but after seeing all of the people with low GPA’s being accepted I wish i would have. I think my major is impacted there anyways, but oh well.

“is that saracasm?”
Really? -_- Now I’m sad.

I disagree. Just because someone has college-educated parents doesn’t mean that they’ll have a perfect GPA. There are a lot of reasons why they may not have perfect GPAs. It could be that they may have gotten a bad grade in some of their courses and never retook those courses to get a better grade. I know my overall GPA with both my non-UC transferable and UC-transferable courses added together is somewhere below a 3.0 because of my math course grades. I suck terribly at math and can never get above a C in that subject. I was only lucky to get a B in my statistics course because it was online and we were allowed to use our notes (written on one sheet of paper) on the final.

I wasn’t ragging on you. I was telling you not to be a douc he. which you continued to do til now…

sweetlacecharm is quite charming. thank you very much.

Anyone have any idea what the acceptance rate for the waitlist has been in the past years for transfers? All I have been able to find is freshman waitlist info. I was wait listed with a 2.85 for Political Science. Will it harm me to SIR to riverside?

You should probably SIR to at least one school in case you do not get admitted.

You just lose your SIR fee if you withdraw from the school.

@TaLLLuDWiG718
fantastic! congratulations. davis is a great school.

@mtbrider

Definitely SIR to your backup, unless it’s Davis or another year at CC is what you want.
