<p>So i got accepted to both UC Davis and Slo for computer engineering. I dont plan on changing my majors or anything in the future and i want to know which school is prefered for this major. I also want to include the importance of the location (not so much where, but what is there. Like what is there to do, what kind of atmosphere?) and education. THanks</p>

<p>They are both strong in computer engineering. Both are in college towns. I am a currrent Cal Poly student. Poly is closer to the beach, but Davis is closer to cities in the bay area. There’s lots of outdoor activities to do at Poly and I’m sure parties are popular at both schools. </p>
<p>I ultimately picked Poly over Davis because it was smaller, closer to home, and cheaper.</p>
<p>just curious, what were your stats? i’m applying to both this fall! :O</p>
