Hi, DD (now a Junior) attended this last summer and really loved it. If you have any questions, please let me know. It’s definitely very rigorous and I’ll be honest, after the first week and a half she was not sure how much she was going to like it since it was a lot of lectures and studying in the beginning, but she learned so much and once her lab research started, she was in heaven. It’s such a great program and she met some really great kids that she still keeps in touch with. Her presentation at the end BLEW MY MIND. They all did. Highly, highly recommend this great program.
@crknwk2000 would love to connect with you about questions about program. Thanks!

anyone know other summer programs
Hi, could you tell that was it unusual when the parent picked up their kids on 4 of July?
D19 attended last summer and indicated that 50% of the students were picked up by parents that weekend. For those that were picked up, they got to home and bring back some things to the dorm that they forget and/or didn’t think of. For those students who stayed, they had planned events (baseball game, picnic, fireworks) that gave the kids an opportunity to bond and really get to know each other. Win/win for all.
Congrats to all the new scholars. My D had a great time and keeps in touch with friends she met last summer.
We are out of state so were just thinking to put student on airplane both to and from. Or, do parents all come to some presentation at the end? Anything else we need to know that helped your student in dorm last summer? Computer? Thanks!,
