Ugh. I guess I'll finish up my homework. This weekend sucked. What did everyone else do this weekend?

going out to eat at new restaurants and laughing away with my friends (I am a restaurant fiend! if you guys know of any good places, let me know!)

Shooting ranges (if anyone knows of one in berkelely let me know..or of a skeet shooting range)

outdoors: hiking, running, swimming, being out in nature. i like going by myself at times to just have time to myself and reflect on things

south park and 24--give me season dvd's and i'm all set for the day!

psychology books--let me know if you see/read any good ones!

horror/comedy/suspense/action movies

working out--love the euphoric feeling when i'm done

making new friends and spending time with my good friends, familiy, and boyfriend. most of all. as long as i am with good people, i'm having a good time!

mrmuirmc, how long you been playing the piano for

Why aren't any of you asleep? My excuse is I'm writing an essay.

I need to finish typing up my poli phil notes and reading for my business law online course. What else is new.

I hope that I get some job interviews tomorrow. I am growing bored of doing nothing but studying everyday!

ok, i tried to stay away. i can't, i'm addicted. i'm also "writing an essay", but i'm not really. it's due at 12:30. i already blew off turning in the rough draft last wed. i'm hoping this impending bad grade will jolt me back into scholastic reality.

my excuse is that college pushed my bedtime to 4 am =0

Heh. I love you guys....

Ahh, I'm getting delirious.
Good night. Good bye.

calgirl21,

I've been playing for about two years now. I was just messing around one day and kinda started to figure out "Brick," that old Ben Folds Five song, and thought it was fun. I already knew how to read music, so I bought a few songbooks and got really into Ben Folds. I've seriously spent the last two years playing nothing but Ben Folds, haha. That doesn't make me a very diverse piano player I guess, but it's something I really enjoy.

Oh, and if you've never been to Cafe Giovanni on Shattuck, you definitely should. It's a really good Italian place. Nice atmosphere, too.

studying for midterms

lol! benfolds, i remember them

I think that we should all form a group on like ESPN.com to make picks on the NCAA Tournament. This will get our minds off of the wait and the decisions a little. I did a few of these contests last year and it was fun.

too bad everyone would pick UCLA =) btw, does anybody know how to use smilies?!

Use a colon instead of an equals sign :) :) :) :)

thanks
:) :( what about the sarcastic smiley?

I just found this
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/misc.php?do=showsmilies

Go Bruins!

hobo, ben folds is totally still around.....just not on the top 40.....you should listen to "songs for silverman" or "rockin the suburbs" He's really talented

Wow. I was just checking out the stats of the highschoolers that got rejected and I am amazed. Ridiculously qualified people get rejected like nothing...High School competition is a **...Though I know transfering is a much less competitive process, that * makes me nervous nonetheless. At the very least, I feel undeserving of an acceptance because of all the stellar freshmen canidates that get denied admission.

Is anyone with me on this?

haha, i remember rocking the suburbs, it was a good song. their old stuff was good too. Just wondering how they just dropped off the scene?! I really liked some old 90's poppish stuff like marcy's playground.
