<p>I already got accepted, I was just wondering when I was going to get my envelope. I live a couple hours from Irvine so I guess I'll get it soon. So you didn't find out about financial aid?</p>
<p>Can the fact that I applied for Economics and Business Economics affect the arrival of an acceptance?</p>

Nope. I don't think the UCs even require financial aids forms yet.</p>

Don't know, but don't worry if you haven't been accepted yet. They still have the entire month of March to tell you your decision.</p>
<p>I don't know. My friend and I both applied for biology and I already got accepted and she didn't but we're both guaranteed through ELC. I have a higher gpa than her, but she has higher test scores, but it might just be random. I read on another topic that econ majors haven't been accepted yet, but I don't know if that's true.</p>

<p>UCI needs to announce earlier to show their enthusiasm for kids who will also get into UCB, UCLA and UCSD. Most of these kids think of UCI as safety at best.</p>
<p>So if I got in early at Irvine, do I have a good chance at UCSD?</p>
<p>No pinkfeather we (anteaters) don't need to do that. UCI is definitely the first choice for most of the people who apply here. </p>
<p>konokai-unless you got regents the order that you receive admission is completely random. UCSD only takes about 5-10% fewer people than UCI does, so acceptance at UCI does mean you have a better chance at UCSD, but the time at which you receive it is completely irrelevant.</p>
