<p>No, that’s actually not true. Its pretty easy to change your major (assuming you don’t have a horrendous academic record). If you’re a current student, it requires you to fill out a form and for a counselor to briefly review it. It’s even easier if you’re a freshman.</p>

<p>Btw, as has been stated like a thousand times on this website and on the UC website, you’re not admitted based on major.</p>
