@anon19 There’s no correlation between the acceptances and the last names, so there’ll be even less of a correlation between applicants’ first names and their acceptances. My name starts with an N, but I know a few As and Ss and whatnot. Best to just wait and try not to draw conclusions.
i think they did it by major in alphabetical order, but that was only the first round of acceptances. So, they’re going to send out another wave of acceptances by major in alphabetical order

Doesn’t UCI admit by college first, and then major? If that was the case, are you saying that those who were accepted as undeclared were notified by the major they applied as? It doesn’t seem right.
I applied as a Business Admin major for my first choice but have not heard back yet, but I did see quite a few acceptance posts from Business Admin majors.
Yeah so let’s all be patient. We’ve heard a couple acceptances from MOST majors in alphabetical order (from what I could tell in this thread). More acceptances will be coming either today or Monday (hopefully today)
If it is being released by majors - any undeclared social science acceptances yet?
Also, if anyone on board from previous years, doesl UCI wait until weekend over for next wave or do they release on Saturdays?
