***UC Irvine Class of 2022 Applicants***

I saw 1 but they were just tr0lling

Also, can anyone tell me with their last name starting with a G if they got their admission decision yesterday?

@KimPossible1999 GPA 3.8, AP Comp Sci, AP Calc AB and BC. Good personal statement. SAT 1320, Math 720, Eng 600… Good luck

Weren’t there 3 days of acceptances last year?(March 16-18) Then waitlist and rejections?

Yasss I got into UCI

@kidsadvcate those are some amazing stats, dang. and is your son also a first gen.?

I haven’t gotten anything yet, poli sci

@Bcheng360 did UCI just release your admission or were you admitted around the same time as others on this thread?

Still nothing… CS major. Should I loose hope?

There’s three days of acceptances and they don’t admit in any particular order. Try not to get too worked up y’all. Good luck!

@mitato source please?

acceptances on friday, monday, and tuesday, waitlists on wednesday, and rejections on thursday.

based on previous years and other schools that follow similar rolling admission patterns
no decisions released on weekends

Thanks @stressedsnr

I guess rejection should be before at least joy getting result early…

are they doing it by major? It seems like nobody has gotten in for poli sci yet

Also it is computer driven and can be out any time… UCSC published nigh 12 am…

@darnwaitlist It’s not confirmed by the school itself (when have they ever communicated anything about the admissions process), but based on the patterns last year for admittance, that’s how it was. However, it could just as likely have been changed for this year, so don’t take my word for it.

@CaffenatedCat: At least two acceptance yesterday::

He has a 3.5 GPA and a 1370 SAT. He applied under Business Admin, but was accepted under Political Science.

My son was admitted - political science. No CHP, top 5 %, 3.9 uw, 4.5 transcript weighted GPA, 1590 SAT, 9 AP/Honors/DE classes, decent ECs/work/volunteer experience.

This whole thing makes me want to barf. Seriously thinking Santa Monica College would be a great option and then do their Scholars program to get into UCLA or UC Irvine. Anyone else thinking of this as well?

If you have been admitted as a biology major, what are your stats? Mine are SAT- 1470 and WGPA- 4.2 and I am still waiting
