<p>Hi, today I received an "IMPORTANT" email from UCI requesting that I log into the Financial Aid website to check out my FinAid status.</p>
<p>Do all applicants, regardless of acceptance/rejection status, receive a message like this?</p>

<p>I’ve tried researching this online but haven’t found any information. Also, last night I asked a few friends who also applied to UCI and two of three received it as well.</p>
<p>I was accepted last week, and I received it too.</p>
<p>I’m going to go out on a limb and say that everyone gets it. Since posting this, two other friends have either received it or told me that they received it a while ago.</p>
<p>If anyone has knowledge of it and would like to respond, then please, by all means, do.</p>
