I’m having the hardest time deciding between these four schools that I got accepted to so any help at all would be immensely appreciated!
As of yet I’m interested in majoring in a biosci/health related field where I would be able to do lots of research. When I got accepted to RPI I knew that it was more of an engineering school (which I don’t hate! I think I could enjoy engineering, but I haven’t had much exposure to it), but the admissions counselors there keep reminding me that they have fantastic science programs as well, so I haven’t ruled it out yet. Plus I got a really good scholarship to go there. As for Case Western I’m really interested in their medical programs (which I hear they are highly ranked for), but that made me wonder if Case wouldn’t be a better grad school rather than undergrad, but I got a good scholarship there too. UC Irvine I just love. It’s so beautiful and friendly and cool, but I’m worried that there will be a lot of competition for BioSci classes/majors since so many people there major in that area. And finally, I’m from WA so UW is a really doable option for me, with great programs to boot, but I really want to get away! I was looking forward to the eastcoast when I started my college search and I’m kindof set on going somewhere else. I just havent gotten a financial aid packet from UCI or UW yet. I’m really conflicted and I would love any help - thank you!
What are the net costs for each?
Case - $35,441
RPI - $26,526
UW - $27,112
Irvine - $56,741 (?) I’m not too sure about this one, but I know its somewhere around 50k-60k
